Primary Sources
Fleming, Candace, and Jessica Hische. Amelia Lost: The Life and Disappearance of Amelia Earhart. New York: Schwartz & Wade, 2011. Print.
Many of these sources are from people who heard something from Amelia or who have tried to reach out to her during the search to find her. Most of the sources said they reported hearing her from their radio and others said she attempted to reach back through their radio calls. The sources are important to my paper because it gives an inside on how others tried to reach out and find her and how she tried to reach back to get rescued.

Amelia had an eventful time growing up. Her family never stayed in one place for too long. She learned how to adapt fast to her new surroundings. This source helps with my project because it helps me understand how her childhood played a role in her interest in flying.

Amelia was daring and would try anything. She didn’t care if it could kill her, she was determined to prove that women can fly just as good as men can. This source is important to my project because this is the first time we really notice that Amelia is interested in flying and how she got started to be a pilot.

Amelia knew this flight could be her last but she didn’t want to think that way. This section is important to my project because it was Amelia’s last flight and it explains what difficulties she had during on her route.

This document discussed what she did before she made her last flight. It talked about her accomplishments and her altitude records. This helps with my project because show how she accomplished many things before her last flight and how she wasn’t just known for her last flight either.

This source is about Amelia’s childhood and how daring and courageous she was. This helps me with my project because it gives me a short summary of her life and beginning adventures to what led up to her incident. This article helps also give an insight of her interests.
